Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems to ensure the proper watering of landscapes and gardens.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems
- Perform regular inspections to identify leaks, broken lines, or faulty sprinkler heads
- Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal needs
- Ensure proper coverage and distribution of water to plants and lawns
- Operate power tools and hand tools for installation and repairs
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines and perform landscape maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in building, installing, or repairing irrigation systems
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of landscaping principles and practices
- Ability to irrigate lawns, gardens, and plant beds effectively
- Understanding of lawn care techniques
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting system issues
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with garden irrigation methods
- Experience in landscape maintenance
