Job description
Duties:
- maintain irrigation systems for commercial properties
- Perform regular inspections to identify and repair any issues with the irrigation system
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with irrigation equipment, such as valves, controllers, and 2 wire systems.
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and seasonal changes
- Ensure proper water coverage and distribution to maintain healthy lawns, gardens, and landscapes
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete irrigation system repairs
Skills:
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and principles
- Familiarity with various types of irrigation systems, including drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, and soaker hoses
- Proficiency in using hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, and pruners
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with irrigation systems
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of irrigation equipment
Note: Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
