Description Local small company seeking a part time CFO /Controller in Fort Worth area. 10 hours per week. This role is in the industry of financial and business consulting. The part time Controller will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including operational support, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy leadership. Hybrid work schedule. This is a 3-4 month contract assignment.Part time CFO/Controller (contract position):Responsibilities: Review and enhance existing accounting processes and systems Collaborate with partners on strategic business decisions Provide guidance on tax and partnership matters Manage investor relations Ensure compliance with audit, tax, cash flow, capital structure, and investments Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets Evaluate and refine business models and operational assumptions Develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with the organization's goals Provide financial insights and recommendations Use accounting software systems, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and auditing skills to manage accounting functions and budget processes.Top 3 Keys:

Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role.
Must have a comprehensive understanding and experience in managing Accounting Functions. Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Previous experience in Auditing is necessary. Familiarity with Budget Processes is a key requirement for this position. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is crucial. The candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities. Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) would be advantageous. Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team are important. Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial management software is necessary. The candidate should have strong strategic planning and business development skills. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
