Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.​ As the Material Handler, you will oversee parts and material inventory, ensuring efficient flow from receiving to production, stockroom, and shipment. You will assemble and fabricate packaging for items ranging from small parts to large assemblies, ensuring safe transport across all modes of transportation. Operating power industrial trucks, cranes, and other material handling equipment, you will help maintain seamless production operations. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will also manage order documentation, labeling, and ERP system transactions.You Will:

Fabricate and assemble custom packaging to protect products and parts during transport.

Process product information to create labels, documentation, and fulfill shipment orders.

Receive materials and parts, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and process delivery receipts and purchase orders.

Manage inventory using material transactions, Kanban systems, and cycle counting within stockroom and production.

Operate power industrial trucks, cranes, and additional material handling equipment to move materials and products throughout the facility.

Monitor scheduled jobs and orders to ensure shipments are completed on time.

Apply and practice Lean Manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

You Have:

High school diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of experience in parcel and freight operations.

Eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship or transfer requirements.

Ability to analyze and select appropriate packaging size and material to ensure item safety during transit.

Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure and understanding basic geometry principles.

Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:Work in both office and manufacturing environment.
