The Director, Talent Management will lead initiatives and implement and maintain programs in the areas of talent management, leadership development, and / or organizational design and effectiveness. Partnering with People Team and line of business leaders and associates, this role will be responsible for significant work efforts contributing to Talent Management’s focus on strengthening TIAA’s leadership pipeline, optimizing organizational structures, and enhancing overall workforce effectiveness.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Effectively designs, implements, and maintains talent management leadership development, and / or organizational design and effectiveness programs.
Leverages change management principles to ensure leader and associate adoption.
Translates talent management, leadership development, and / or organizational design and effectiveness strategies into technology requirements and works with People Team and technology partners to ensure effective and user-friendly technology solutions.
Analyzes programs and processes to understand key trends and provides recommendations on program and process improvement.
Defines consistent and relevant talent management and organization development success criteria, metrics and reporting dashboards to ensure program efficiency, effectiveness and ROI/value and identify enterprise gaps.
Reviews maintains talent management leadership development, and / or organizational design and effectiveness systems used by the organization to ensure their accuracy and relevance.
Manages and monitors program / process costs and success to ensure alignment with business needs.
Reports on adoption and performance of talent management leadership development, and / or organizational design efforts to senior leadership.
