Overview:The Senior Controls Engineer oversees complex control system projects, ensuring their integrity and success. This role drives innovation, mentors teams, and plays a pivotal role in strategic planning and project execution within the control engineering domain.Primary Responsibilities:

Lead complex control system projects from inception to deployment.

Develop innovative solutions, methodologies, and system standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.

Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company goals, deadlines, and budgets.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into products.

Mentor and guide engineers, fostering their professional growth.

Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.

Ability to work and interact well with others.

Identify inefficiencies in control system development processes and propose and implement improvements for enhanced productivity and quality.

Engage with clients or external stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical insights or solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Specialization in controls engineering is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of applicable engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to develop plans, make timely decisions, and set priorities with a sense of urgency.

Ability to read equipment wiring schematics and create input/output lists from schematics.

Familiarity with UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC codes and standards.

Extensive experience in control system design and project leadership.

Profound expertise in control system software analysis and industry standards.

Proven leadership in strategic planning and junior development.

Extensive knowledge of best safety practices for handling various voltages/currents.

Experience in equipment or large-scale automation projects using Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, etc.

Willingness to travel up to 10%.
