Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor, Mom/BabyOur tight knit team is seeking a new Supervisor – APPLY TODAYWork location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 North Dallas Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75033Work hours: Full Time, 36 Hours, 7:00am – 7:00pmMom/Baby Department highlights:· Beautiful new hospital located in Frisco· Strong team culture· Couplet Care Model· Average 120 births per monthHere’s What You Need· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program· BSN preferred· Two years of experience as a clinical nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role required· Five years of Mom/Baby preferred· RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient careWhat You Will Do· Collaborate with leadership, UBC and appropriate team members to establish, implement and monitor department policies/procedures· Engage staff to promote evidence-based practices within the unit· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and regulatory requirements for compliance· Provide bedside leadership and clinical expertise to improve quality of patient care· Provide safe direct patient are in coordination with other staff when unit activity declares· Promote guidance in emergency or complex situations· Evaluates the outcome of patient care, consults with others on the patient care team and adjusts nursing care practices as needed to improve outcomesTexas Health Frisco is a 93-bed, acute-care, full-service hospital, and medical office community offering primary care and multispecialty medicine.
