The Accounts Payable Clerk will process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. Fullfill full-cycle A/P
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Execute additional tasks as needed
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required Requirements
3 Way Matching experience
Proven knowledge of month end closings
Microsoft Excel experience (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Required.
General familiarity with account reconciliation
Well-founded grasp of Vendor Statements
Comprehensive knowledge of Sage Intacct- required
Form 1099 experience highly desired
Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Excellent attention to detail
