Ideal candidate will have MINIMUM 5years related experience, including experience industrial hygiene and safety analytical data collection and interpretation, safety KPI and regulatory reporting, training on safety related topics, emergency response and incident reporting.

Position involves a great deal of autonomy and discretion in schedule development and business travel while working in a flexible work schedule, therefore candidate must be able to work independently and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill set.

Work Schedule

Hybrid Work Schedule Option (Monday-Wednesday in office; Thursday-Friday remote)

9/80 Work Week Option (9hr days with every other Friday off or ½ day Fridays)

Position Requirements

Position Requirements

Prior safety compliance experience or related consulting experience, with specific oil and gas experience a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, occupational safety, or other science related field.

Minimum 5 years related experience in health and safety field.

Preferred candidates will have or be working towards their ASP, CSP, or IH Certifications.

Proven dedication to occupational health/industrial hygiene professional development.

Proven ability in facilitating training for full range of employee levels.

Travel is estimated to be 10-15%.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.

The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

Job duties include, but may not be limited to :

Provide Companywide coordination for industrial hygiene and safety program management and serve in leadership role in the development of companywide initiatives.

Advise and provide technical guidance and interpretation of pending and enacted occupational health and safety regulations and Company policies and procedures.

Review interpretations of monitoring and sampling results and provide recommendations for corrective actions, including engineering controls and personal protective equipment.

Assist in incident and ethics investigations.

Solicit requests for services for asbestos inspections and abatement projects, chemical and physical exposure assessments, indoor air and visible mold investigations, ventilation assessments, and other occupational health evaluations.

Administer and oversee enhancements to web based applications used by Company for electronic safety data sheets, safety related medical records, and industrial hygiene database for surveys and monitoring results.

Maintain a Companywide industrial hygiene portal for program documents, asbestos inspections, and industrial hygiene assessment reports.

Coordinate Companywide incident lessons learned and best management practices communications.

Participate in Company Safety Technical Work Group, Incident Review Committee, or other working groups as needed.

Serve as a safety contact for Operations Support Group staff and Company office personnel.
