The ideal candidate will facilitate human resource processes across all business locations, maintain professionalism and confidentiality, and exhibit a proactive, flexible approach. This is a fast-paced environment, so the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently is essential.Please Note :
This position does not offer mileage reimbursement for office days, nor reimbursement for home internet or cellphone service.
The candidate will be responsible for setting up their own home office, with the exception of a laptop and charger provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities :
Facilitate communication between employees and management, resolving employee relations matters related to safety investigations and corrective actions.
Implement and administer company safety policies and procedures, advising management on safety-related disciplinary actions.
Investigate and resolve employee concerns related to safety issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
Maintain accurate records of safety case investigations in the Employee Relations (ER) case management system.
Identify trends and propose solutions to improve the work environment based on safety case patterns.
Mentor HR team members on best practices for employee relations, especially related to safety matters.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist with I9 processing.
Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
Experience : 1-3 years of HR Coordinator experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
A proactive attitude, with a sense of urgency and a bias for action.
