A Field Application Engineer is responsible for Installing, Configuring and commissioning the Honeywell HCE software Product at Customer Sites as well as responsible for all aspects of the projects from Requirements gathering to final delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute software deployment, implementation and/or upgrade projects.
Implement standard solutions within budgeted time and cost constraints. May be required to work on customized solutions as per project specific requirement.
Implementation of application as per design and requirement specification
Create Project Documentation like Functional Design Specifications, AS Builds, Site Acceptance Testing, End user Training etc.
Provide Training to End users on how to use and configure the deployed application.
Troubleshoot issues during project implementation and seek assistance from Application Support teams in finding a solution.
Lead Technical discussions with customers on Implementation, Configuration and Architecture choices.
Shares technical knowledge with the team, supervisor, own discipline and other disciplines
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
Provide consulting support and product Demo’s to customers
Support Proposal and Estimation whenever required
Up to 50% travel within North America

1+ year of experience using Historian ( one or more of PHD, Aspen, or IP-21).
1+ years of experience (SQL) Structured Query Language

Knowledge of controls engineering and control systems and familiarity with Some DCS system like Honeywell Experion, Honeywell TPS, Foxboro IA, Emerson DeltaV, Emerson Ovation, and/or ABB among others
Experience of Windows Servers and Management for project related activities
Understanding of basic networking principles
Understanding SQL Server Database and to be able to Query SQL Server Databases
Experience or knowledge in simple VBS scripting
