The HSE Specialist will support the Subsea services businesses within the Houston region. In this role, the candidate will utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, build effective partnerships and can affect the site’s and field services team’s short-term and long-term HSE goals. Essential Responsibilities:
Individuals with expertise in a specific area, such as industrial hygiene, injury & illness, ergonomics, electrical safety, process safety management, etc. and/or providing general health & safety advice and support for the site employees and contractors. Additional Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will support Operations within Houston region.
- Collaborate closely with the HSE and Operation teams
- Drive an interdependent safety culture where employees look after each other and are responsible for health, safety, and environmental practices and conditions
- Drive HSE performance metrics and risk mitigation improvements across site operations Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Basic knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and/or Manufacturing industry Characteristics:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools.
