Description Northwest Houston client is hiring an Human Resources Manager. This position will play a key role in managing and overseeing the company's HR functions, including but not limited to employee relations, benefits, recruitment, training, workman's compensation, and compliance with labor laws.Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support overall business goals.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Oversee and administer employee benefits programs.Work closely with department managers to assist in hiring and training initiatives.Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state compliance requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records.Handle workman compensation matters effectively.Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to ensure continual improvements in the efficiency of the HR department.Qualifications:A minimum of 5+ years in HR management roles.Prior experience in formulating and implementing HR processes and procedures.Extensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.Proficient understanding of workman's compensation matter.Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of individuals to foster a harmonious working environment.Pro-active problem solver.A degree in Human Resources or related field is highly desired.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
