SUMMARYThe primary purpose of the Student Extern position is to perform Human Resources Management business support functions commensurate with a college student's Junior or senior year of study. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various Human Resources areas in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The goal for this position is to gain exposure and experience required to perform duties in the areas of Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, Benefits & Recognition, HR Technology & Reporting, HR Business Partners and the HR Service Center (additional HR areas if available). Participation in special projects in support of the Human Resources division staff will be required on an ad hoc basis.Key ResponsibilitiesInitial duties will include extensive training in institutional systems and processes.New Hire and Institutional Mandatory Training: Participates in Institutional Human Resources TrainingPosition will rotate throughout various HR departments throughout the duration of externship.UKG Dimensions (formerly Kronos): Assist with the analysis of Dimensions data.Training, Mentoring, Cross Coverage:Seek out cross functional training opportunities.
