You will work as part of a multidiscipline team with process, equipment, service, project management, customers, contractors, and vendors to execute projects. You will generate designs, produce specifications, evaluate revamps, troubleshoot operations, and communicate results. You will utilize your heat exchanger expertise to provide UOP and its customers knowledge of the design, specification, operation, and capabilities of heat exchangers. You will develop the product designs necessary to drive product improvement and will be integral in securing present and future business by consistently meeting or exceeding Voice of Customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Provide exchanger selection, design, and modeling expertise with a primary focus supporting Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Processes.

Create specifications, perform design optimizations, troubleshoot field operations, and present technical solutions.

Contribute to internal design standards, calculation tools, and documentation to improve project execution efficiency

Learn from industry leading experts and contribute to process and equipment advancements to enhance UOP’s world-leading process technology.

Ability to travel up to 10% world-wide, typically of short duration (generally between a few days and two weeks).

You Must Have:

Bachelors degree in Engineering

10+ years experience

We Value:

Engineering degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering

Significant experience in the design and selection of heat exchangers including experience with HTRI or similar exchanger design software

Specific knowledge of exchangers related to LNG processes, Coil Wound Heat Exchangers, Plate Fin Heat Exchangers, etc.

Experience in the design of equipment for refinery and petrochemical plants

Expert knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g. API, ASME, TEMA)

Demonstrated ability to effectively apply technical expertise to a range of engineering and field support activities

Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively to manage priorities and deliver on multiple projects

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Experience working with diverse, global teams

Strong verbal and written communication skills
