Description We are offering an opportunity for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant in Houston, Texas. for a national law firm. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support during all stages of the litigation process, working closely with attorneys and other team members. This role involves maintaining attorney calendars, preparing a wide range of documents, and liaising with clients and third-party vendors. Responsibilities: Prepare, proo, and edit a variety of documents such as correspondence, agreements, pleadings, spreadsheets, and presentations. Assist attorneys with the preparation of depositions, witness preparation, and preparation of exhibits, briefs, and motions as needed. Serve as a liaison between attorney and clients, and coordinate with internal departments and third-party vendors. Maintain attorney calendars and docket case deadlines, coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, and conference calls. Send monthly firm invoices to clients and process vendor invoices in a timely manner. Prepare and process check requests and business expense reimbursements. Organize and manage case files/emails within the document management system. Perform conflict requests and draft engagement letters and new client/matter intake forms. Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.You've got choices and chances.
