During this ten-week legal internship, you will work under the direction and guidance of experienced commercial and IP attorneys as well as Regulatory Compliance and Trade Compliance professionals to support the company’s strategic efforts by providing general legal guidance regarding a variety of transactional, litigation, privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory concerns across multiple business units at LBS. The internship will commence on or around May 20, 2024/late May, 2024 and will be remote.You will be a part of a dynamic and exciting Legal and Compliance team and will have the opportunity to work with numerous attorneys and other professionals in the company's global legal organization while reporting to the Chief IP Counsel. You will be exposed to both legal and business aspects when contributing to the formation of legal advice and strategy while having the opportunity to travel to various LBS sites. Transactions, including both commercial contract drafting and review

Regulatory, including both compliance, privacy, and trade compliance concerns

Intellectual Property, including patentability, validity, and landscape searches and competitive IP intelligence and analysis

General legal research of questions presented

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

Completion of at least one year of law school education in an ABA Accredited J.D. program with an anticipated graduation date in 2025 or 2026.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

A technical undergraduate degree in a scientific field such as Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable discipline.
