The Viral Clinical Trial unit in the Department of Infectious Diseases under Dr. Roy Chemaly primarily focuses on the epidemiology, prevention and treatment of viral infections in cancer patients.A post doc within our group is expected to:

Collect patient data from electronic medical records

Follow patients on clinical trials

Process clinical samples

Protocol and manuscript preparation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Understanding the basics of human clinical trials, including study design, study conduct and ethical considerations.

Develop a comprehensive study protocol

Summarizing study results into a manuscript
