A Houston company is looking for a PTC Windchill System Adminitrator for long term contract (6-12+ months).
EXPERIENCE: 6-8 years' experience in PTC Windchill PLM System Administration; CI & BUild Pipeline development, SQL & PL/SQL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installation, configuration, and support of Windchill on Linux and Windows. ·
Supports daily operations including Build & Release management, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring/tuning. ·
Installation of WBM, Creo, Solr & CAD Tools
Work with vendor to troubleshoot issues and implement patches and perform System Upgrades
Rehost environment -dev, test, and QA environments
Using File Utility to load different business objects in Windchill
Configure and support Windchill applications in a cluster environment. ·
Develop & maintain automated (scripted) Windchill Build and Deployment pipelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years’ experience in administrating Windchill PLM systems.
Good understanding of Oracle Databases, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, Linux and windows systems.
Experience in shell scripting.
Ability to work on a self-initiated basis and within a team environment, coordinating between various teams
Good working knowledge of Windchill PDMLink, Project Link, PartsLink, MPMLink, WBM
Familiar with Azure Cloud Technologies
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to set priorities and manage own workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starter with drive for results and attention to detail
Able to independently complete assignments within established time frames
