Performs visual inspection of printed materials for defects. Responsibilities:Perform “samples” selection and package for shipment.Perform visual inspection of random samples of product selected during a production run, or post production, looking for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotched colors, dirt on the product, and any other visual defect that is out of specification. Follows inspection checklist and records any identified defects. Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.Provides notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.May assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product.Perform other duties as assigned.

  • At Houston Methodist, the System Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Quality Reviewer position is responsible for performing internal quality assurance reviews on Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) staff to ensure compliance with national guidelines and policies for complete, accurate and consistent reporting which results in appropriate reimbursement and data integrity. This position reviews outcomes that are communicated to the team to improve the accuracy, integrity and quality of patient data, to ensure minimal variation in practices and to improve the quality of physician documentation within the body of the medical record to support code assignments and communicates outcomes to the CDS team to provide specific education, based on the quality monitoring review findings and trends.
