The Registered Nurse in this position will represent International SOS and will provide comprehensive health services to DOS, DOD, and contractor personnel stationed in Iraq. Registered Nurses will use a holistic approach to care for the patients requiring acute medical or surgical interventions. Nurses will be accountable clinically for ensuring nursing care compliance with accepted standards of care and clinical practice. Nurses will use clinical judgment in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care in variety of settings where life-threatening disease or injury requires close monitoring and at times quick intervention.  Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health status. Collect and analyse patient histories, vital signs, and diagnostic information. Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and healthcare needs. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians. Provide direct patient care, including wound care, IV therapy, and monitoring of vital signs. Educate patients about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. Offer emotional support and counselling to patients and their families during difficult times. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting care provided and patient responses. Maintain compliance with all project site procedures, standards, and continuing educational and mandatory training requirements. The role may involve on-call hours and requires the ability to respond to emergencies. Other duties as required
