Turbine EngineerResponsibilities include the engineering, start up and tuning of combustion/steam turbine control systems. Hands-on experience tuning turbine-related control loops, logic, control valves, sensors, and tuning of controls. Work independently or coordinate activities of other staff to install, modify, test, or repair Company products and equipment. Represent the Company in negotiating agreements, resolving highly complex technical, logistics, and business issues while promoting and maintaining good customer relations and protecting the Company's interests.Perform or coordinate highly complex and diverse engineering activities and related analyses associated with major field projects and provide technical advice to customers and less experienced field engineers. Visit multiple job sites to ensure proper installation and operation of specialized equipment and to devise solutions to problems. Establish schedules and coordinate technical activities. Direct or assist in providing direction to craftspeople.Hard Skills
Large Turbine Tuning Experience of at least 5 years (Gas and/or Steam turbine experience)
DCS controls experience – Harmony, Symphony, and 800xA platforms
Hands-on experience with TPS and VPS modules
Ability to lead turbine commissioning activities
