Position Overview

We are looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative with strong field-based B2B sales experience. Candidates with backgrounds in door-to-door or outside sales are highly encouraged to apply—while this role does not involve door-to-door consumer sales, the same persistence, energy, and relationship-building skills are exactly what’s needed to succeed in developing new business with industrial clients.

This is a field-heavy role where you’ll spend most of your time visiting industrial clients, building relationships, creating opportunities, and growing long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

-Generate new B2B business every day by visiting equipment rental companies, contractors, service yards, and industrial operations in the Houston area.

-Plan and execute daily routes, meeting 8–12 prospects and clients per day.

-Identify equipment challenges on-site and position Primer as the go-to partner for hydraulic repair services.

-Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with maintenance managers, shop supervisors, and purchasing teams.

-Deliver compelling proposals and service quotes that demonstrate value and ROI for clients.

-Collaborate with our technical service team to ensure seamless execution of repairs and follow-through.

-Track leads, visits, and deals through CRM and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

- 3+ years of outside sales or B2B field sales experience (experience in door-to-door sales is valuable if you are looking to transition into industrial B2B sales).

-Strong hunter mentality—comfortable walking into shops, service yards, and industrial business offices to introduce services.

-Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

-Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn hydraulic systems (prior hydraulic experience a plus, but not required).

-Professional presence with strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

-Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.

-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for daily client visits).

-Comfortable working in a small but growing company environment—flexible, resourceful, and adaptable to change.

Compensation & Benefits

-Base salary: $2,500 per month

-Uncapped commissions + bonuses (earnings potential: $90,000+ per year)

-Full-time W2 position, Monday–Friday

-Company vehicle provided for field visits
