Conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans will be the main responsibilities in this position. Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks
Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed
Present and monitor forecasting reports
Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources
Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)
Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required Requirements - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis
Financial Forecast experience preferred
Strong familiarity with variance analysis
