Global Strategic Initiatives Program Lead, SVP

The Global Strategic Initiatives Program Lead role is a senior-level position and will be part of the US Personal Banking and Wealth Management Technology (USPBW) and CTI Chief Operating Office, reporting into the Head of Global Strategic Initiative. This role will be responsible for supporting the organizational vision to drive efficient operations in USPBW and CTI and alignment to strategic imperatives. This individual will focus on the global delivery of strategic programs with a specific focus on initiatives that cross sector and cross region.Responsibilities Include:

Own end-to-end execution of global programs from idea / problem identification through requirements definition and solution implementation

Champion the development & implementation of global programs, including standardized review, tracking, and reporting mechanisms

Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.

Directs the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.

Drive progress and associated activities across the organization to achieve strategic growth objectives

Proactive focus on global delivery of global programs with specific focus on items that cross sector and cross region

Deliver on Global Initiatives which are in response to Organization Change / Improvement, Audit, Risk, MRA and Finance Transformation Initiatives

Partner with EMT-1 / EMT - 2 leaders to understand their unique businesses and processes and how they can be streamlined in a way that enhances controls, creates efficiencies, and drives business growth

Support other Global Initiatives management leads in their day-to-day ownership of program delivery and promote an environment conducive to information exchange

Collaborate with senior business leaders to create key management presentations for various audiences

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders

Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology

Extensive experience in managing highly visible, complex initiatives and/or consulting experience; Capable of diving into details, while bringing a strategic and big picture perspective

Organizationally savvy with the ability to build strong relationships across functions to drive the strategic agenda

Highly collaborative, strong operator and facilitator with the ability to influence and turn a vision into an execution plan

Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and provide direction with judgement and authority to enable effective validation with senior stakeholders.

Ability to work in an environment where priorities are frequently changing

Demonstrated skills in building and developing teams

Strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment

Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments

Experience with cross-functional / business delivery, ideally with large data-intensive program management experience.

Experienced in project management with excellent organizational, follow-up and time management skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Masters degree preferred
