Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the Retail - Food Store industry, based in Irving, Texas. As a vital part of our team, the HR Generalist will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from talent acquisition to employee relations, ensuring smooth HR operations in our organization.Responsibilities: Support talent acquisition initiatives, including position development, posting, applicant management/tracking, and onboarding new employees. Create and deliver support programs for team development under the direction of leadership. Assist in Human Resource Planning processes and coordinate employee transfers. Act as a liaison between the organization and payroll for management of payroll and benefits issues. Assist in establishing a two-way communication channel for employees regarding HR processes and talent opportunities. Provide information coordination services for employees on employment matters. Utilize ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Dayforce for various HR functions. Perform employee relations duties, including handling FMLA issues and ensuring compliance. Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management. Requirements Possess proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now software Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is a must Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software systems is required Demonstrated ability to perform Benefit Functions Strong Communication skills are necessary Knowledge and experience in Compliance is required Proven track record in managing Employee Relations Familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) is necessary Prior experience in retail or food store industry is preferred Human Resources certification or related degree is desirable Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
