Our Citi CTI Data Services deliver data technologies (e.g. Database - Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Couchbase, Mongo, Snowflake, Autonomous, Big Data, ETL, Business Intelligence) for consumption by businesses within Citi.
A Subject Matter Expert is needed to solve complex challenges such as very large database backup/recovery, GDPR, Appendix J compliance (using Actifio, ZDLRA) and data encryption strategy (Oracle TDE, IBM GDE).
The Oracle Architecture Engineering Lead Analyst will provide leadership in the design and delivery of Oracle database solutions and setting Oracle technology strategies globally across Citi.
This role will collaborate with the engineering and DBA teams to ensure that critical applications using Oracle have a secure, resilient deployment configuration that can scale and meet performance requirements as needed.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in evaluating and certifying Replication technologies as Golden Gate and components within Goldengate - Microservices Architecture, Goldengate Veridata.
This role will also be responsible to define universal monitoring through Oracle Enterprise Monitoring (OEM) tool, implementation of Forecasting using Oracle BI Tools.
Evaluate and Review complex configuration of High Resiliency Architecture, including but not limited to Oracle Active Data Guard, Oracle Logical Standby, Fast Start Failover (FSFO), Hot-Hot Architecture using Oracle Goldengate Bi-Directional Replication.
This role will also define automated processes to consistently build, patch and upgrade Oracle databases across the entire estate.
Define a holistic architecture for the deployment of Oracle products including cloud technologies.
Define technology strategies and standards on product selection and product exit
Review and manage SDLC process controls for all Oracle automation projects
Liaise with Operational DBA teams to ensure that engineered and automated solutions are tested by operations and sufficiently trained for providing L3/support.
Develop and/or coordinate tools and process integration for Oracle products
Collaborate with private Oracle cloud team to introduce new Oracle features and capabilities
5+ years of experience in following areas:
Architectural design of applications to leverage Oracle products for appropriate use cases
Experience working with Oracle database products from installation to testing and development - Oracle 12c, 19c, Oracle Multi-Tenant Architecture (Container and Pluggable Databases)
Working knowledge of Oracle database products and advanced features Oracle RAC, ASM, Partitioning, Oracle In-Memory, Data guard, Goldengate, OEM, Oracle TDE
Experience in cloud technologies like AWS/AzureP/Snowflake/Oracle Cloud etc., is a plus.
Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database is a plus.
Experience in developing reference architectures, coordinating deployments of Oracle features
Experience in working on unix/linux operating system - RHEL 6, RHLE 7, RHEL 8, Oracle Linux
RDBMS + NoSQL + Graph troubleshooting and development
Knowledge of agile SCRUM practices, JIRA
Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor s degree in or equivalent work experience
