SAFETY MANAGER JOB SUMMARYThe Safety Manager role is responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all the attractions and facility. The Safety Manager will assist with facilitating the repair and maintenance of the Park and any associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventoryAssist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintenance of the Park / attractions in superior working orderResponsible for maintaining work area and back end in a neat and orderly mannerMaintain adequate supply of tools and machineryRead and interpret diagnostics from manualMaintain a safe work environment and assist managers to ensure staff adheres to all safety rulesAdvise General Manager on any problems and / or potential problems discovered during maintenance of attractionsPerform other related duties as assignedAbility to work various shifts and regular attendance is a requirement for the roleQUALIFICATIONSMust be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and minimum of one (1) year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSome knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not requiredWork flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays, as needed)Basic working knowledge of hand tools & repairsGeneral knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practicesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWork in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditionsMove about facility and stand for long periods of time (over 60% of the time)This position is very active and requires standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pullingRequires lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of up to 300 lbs.
