Primary Responsibilities:

Performs all routine imaging procedures including Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flow studies, and SPECT according to policies and procedures established by the nuclear physician

Administers radioactive materials to patients and routinely charges patient exams

Ensures the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards

Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program

Texas Medical Board Medical Technologist - General Certificate; NMTCB or ARRT (NM), or registry eligible

BLS through American Heart Association

6+ months in a clinical area. May consider a new grad if hiring department can provide direct supervision for 6 months

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine
