We partner with our Nurses at Medical City Plano!Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the supervision of the director/manager or designee, the Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Ace in a manner consistent with the mission of the hospital. The RNFA will be assisting in the intraoperative phase including draping, suturing, clamping, endoscopic and open vein harvestingWhat qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN/MSN preferred
Texas State RN License or compact license is accepted. Completion of an accredited course in RN First Assistant including didactic and preceptor training
CRNFA required
AHA BLS Certification required
Previous Operating Room experience preferred
