This position is an internal/external customer facing position supporting multiple portfolios. This is a hybrid role where the selected analyst will be responsible for estimating repair material/labor as well as pricing Service proposals and maintaining the services catalog. This position works closely with our leadership team and various functional teams such as engineering, contracts, and program management. It requires the ability to review the Request for Proposal (RFP), analyze labor & material repair history, review bills of material, identify risks and/or opportunities, and to work under pressure effectively while completing assignments on time. The ideal candidate will be able to construct very complex proposals, perform a detailed analysis, clearly articulate financial information, and possesses knowledge of U.S. Government Contracting Regulations. This role will be Hybrid with the expectations to work in the office 3-4 days a week as business needs dictate. Position can be based out of one from the following Collins Aerospace locations:

What You Will Do:

Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of very complex proposals in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for submission in response to request for proposal / quote (RFP / RFQ)

Analyze prior repair history to accurately estimate future repair costs

Possess a thorough understanding of rate structures, cost burdening, and fee application to accurately build up proposal cost and price

Prepare complex financial summaries and breaks down information into key takeaways allowing Senior Management to make informed business decisions

Primary point of contact for the Services catalog additions and updates

Partner with contracts to support the services catalog audit every two years

Capable of leading customer fact-finding, negotiations, and DCAA/DCMA audits

Collaborate with leadership and various functional teams to gather information, share insights, facilitate informed decision-making

Assess the financial implications of pricing strategies and ensure accuracy and integrity of current cost and pricing data

Lead the proposal team in identifying, assessing, and quantifying proposal risks and/or opportunities

Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements

Apply CORE principles to drive efficiencies and process improvements

Ability to travel domestic less than 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Ability to assess, prioritize and handle multiple proposals at the same time

Experience with BW, SAP, BMW, PARS, ProPricer and MS Excel

Functional knowledge of FAR, DFARs and General Accepted Accounting Principles

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
