The candidate must be able to work from within the Collins Aerospace facility in Richardson, TX. As an RTE you will be responsible for the overall execution of the Agile Release Train (ART). The RTE directly supports and works closely with the Product Manager (PM) to facilitate program level processes and execution, drive continuous development and improvement, manage risks and mitigate and/or escalate impediments. The RTE is also responsible for coaching the associated ART members in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The RTE will assist their ART Product Owners (PO), Scrum Masters and PM and coordinate with other program RTEs to achieve program technical commitments including technical execution, maintain schedules and budgets.Primary responsibilities:

The RTE will lead Iteration Planning including developing Acceptance Criteria for ART Features, identifying and understanding dependencies, and coordinating with other ART RTEs and customers.

The RTE may also be asked to assist with proposal and engineering estimate development.

Candidate will interface with customers and use oral and written skills to develop great working relationships with stakeholders and team members.

RTE is the owner of the ART's processes, process execution, change management and ensures agile processes are executed appropriately and is accountable to the ART PM and other program managers and leaders for ensuring overall program process execution.

RTE collects, analyzes, makes use of and reports Agile metrics for the ART.

RTE will facilitate agile ceremonies to include Iteration Planning, Retrospectives and demonstrations.

The RTE will work closely with product team Scrum Masters to ensure teams are operating efficiently and effectively, making improvements and keeping all JIRA data current.

As part of the Mission Platform Systems Engineering team, you may be involved with Systems Engineering development tasks such as requirements, design and test development in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.

Some additional responsibilities include: being accountable to the ART to facilitate removal of impediments, improve communications and provide status within and outside of the ART. Drives and makes technical decisions for the iteration. Manages Scrum of Scrum and ART technical meetings. Support TIMs, SETRs, CDRs and other technical reviews with senior program management and customers by coordinating and reviewing material. Attends sprint demos from product teams. Removes tasks from the PO plates by having a level of technical knowledge of the work being performed to address questions, knows current status and resolves blockers.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience .

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience working as a scrum master, product owner or other agile lead in an agile environment.

Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA or other Agile management tools.

Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.

Experience in decomposing Agile epics and features to user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) design tools (Enterprise Architect, Cameo, or equivalent) using SysML.

Preferred Qualifications:

Agile Coaching experience in a multi-discipline (Systems, Software, and Hardware) engineering environment.

Agile Certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). Project Management and Control Account Management (CAM) experience preferred

Working knowledge of bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g. SEER products).

Knowledge of the Cameo Systems Modeler or Cameo Enterprise Architect tools

Recent experience and expertise in Atlassian (e.g. JIRA/Bamboo) suite of tools.

Experience and proficiency with project performance measurement, tracking methods, and tools.

Ability to investigate problems to the root cause and then champion the creation and implementation of corrective actions.

An active and transferable U.S. DoD issued Top Secret security clearance is preferred.
