Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Admin Assistant in San Antonio, Texas. This role is within the government sector and involves providing administrative support to the accounting department. The successful candidate will be involved in database management, expense tracking, processing purchases, coordinating special programs and events, and managing front office duties.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records Regularly monitor data entry progress and program outcomes to ensure service delivery quality Coordinate special events and outreach programs, as well as providing other basic needs services Support the management of work calendars, including scheduling meetings, sending reminders, and taking meeting notes Ensure the databases are up to date and internal procedures are being followed by central intake and volunteers Oversee the operations of the reception area and monitor administrative processes Assist with client intake, assessment, and referral services as needed Attend meetings, take notes, organize and assist with meeting minutes Manage outlook calendar and room reservations for program areas and operations Adhere to safety training and protocols, taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others Protect the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service, including client names and information, services rendered to clients, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the government industry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Familiarity with billing functions and expense reports, including travel expenses Previous experience in administrative assistance and administrative office tasks Experience with donor database management and donations Knowledge and experience with Sage Intacct software Strong data entry skills, including Excel formulas Ability to multitask effectively, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
