Description We are in search of a Tax Analyst Intermediate with 3-6 years of experience to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves analyzing, reviewing, and validating tax data, maintaining customer profiles, and using multiple databases and systems. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Analyze, review, and validate moderate to complex tax data such as W9, W8-BEN, W8-BEN-E, W8-IMY, W8-EXP, and W8-ECI Accurately process data for customers' tax profiles across various client systems Ensure modifications in data are correctly updated across various systems Maintain and update tracking mechanisms to ensure accurate data capture Quickly learn and utilize multiple complex databases and systems Perform User Acceptance Testing in systems as needed Build strong client relationships across various lines of business and levels Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment Make independent, client-centric, and judgment-based decisions Identify and escalate issues and discrepancies appropriately Handle pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. Requirements Possesses 3-6 years of experience as a Tax Analyst or similar role. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite. Proven experience in data entry and data analysis. Proficient in SQL and Tableau for data management and visualization. Experience with SAN - Storage Area Network. Strong understanding of tax accounting principles and financial notes. Skilled in conducting research, review, and audit tasks. Excellent customer service skills. Able to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data. Experience with automation tests and user acceptance testing (UAT) for desktop applications. Knowledgeable in UI and modification processes. Demonstrates proficiency in P & L Calculation. Familiarity with tax proceedings. Able to work independently and within a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
