About the Role:The Managed Device Solutions Senior Director Leader holds a pivotal leadership role, steering the creation and delivery of managed industry IT solutions for end users and IT managers. This role leads a team of product managers and solution architects responsible for defining, designing, and deploying managed device solutions for customers and through partners. This role reports into the Managed Solutions team of the Workforce Services & Solutions organization. This role leads a global team across multiple functions such as Managed Services, Professional Services, Marketing, IT, and Sales to align and deliver managed device solutions globally and at scale.The Managed Device Solutions Senior Director Leader has deep industry expertise and a proven track record of developing and executing product and growth strategies for end user device services. This role requires an understanding of the market landscape and HP's portfolio to convert our solutions into differentiated value propositions. This role also requires someone who has excellent communication skills to interact with key opinion leaders, customers, business units, product management / marketing, IT, and sales teams and be a thought leader externally to share HP perspectives on transforming industries through managed IT solutions.Key Responsibilities:

Use domain and technical expertise to develop and implement a managed device solutions strategy that comprehends pan-HP capabilities and solutions into a cohesive, differentiated portfolio of offerings in the market

Conduct market analysis, using external customer insights and internal feedback from customer-facing functions, and understand industry and technology trends to develop a managed device solutions portfolio that is valued by our customers and differentiated in the market

Drive executive alignment across multiple functions (inclusive of Personal Systems Hardware/Software, Professional Services, Managed Services, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance) on the managed device solutions strategy

Effectively plan, coordinate, and direct the delivery of the managed device solutions portfolio while managing risks and issues to minimize scope, budget, and schedule impacts

Build comprehensive GTM strategy and drive alignment/adoption across sales organization

Own P&L for managed device solutions portfolio, including driving top line revenue double digit growth and bottom-line efficiency

Actively manage funnel growth and support execution by sales teams

Partner with COE and Marketing to develop and execute portfolio-level GTM strategy through direct sales and channel partners to increase penetration, create demand, and expand brand awareness.

Provide thought leadership internally and externally on key industry technology-related topics and the managed device solutions portfolio

Serve as trusted advisor in C-suite/exec level strategic alignment discussions about HP's managed device solution capabilities (requires deep knowledge across industries and relevant solution ecosystems and ability to communicate at executive and practitioner level)

Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technology advancements and adapt business strategy as needed to enable the organization to stay ahead of the curve

Manage interactions with executive business leaders to address complex managed device solution issues, represent the organization to both internal and external stakeholders, encompassing all facets of function-specific affairs.

Develop and foster executive-level relationships with strategic ISV and GSI partners

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to portfolio managers and solution architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Education/Work Requirements:

15+ years of experience in direct product management or solution architecture leadership with 5+ years of product management experience within managed services. Must have deep hands-on experience and knowledge of end user computing.

Direct relevant experience with owning a product or solution from introduction through launch and into maturity.

Experience managing individual contributors and other managers

Strategic thinking and strong execution background, strong bias for delivering results

Four-year or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence

Experience managing P&L

Desired: Commercial experience in a sales or pre-sales role

Location : Prefer local to Houston area, however, we may consider other locations within the continental US.Travel : This role will require some travel.Compensation : The base pay range for this role is $183,650 to $293,800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and equity (applies to US candidates only).
