Accounts Payable Specialist

Description An Oil and Gas Services company is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract basis immediately. The hours are 7:00-3:00, Monday-Friday. This opportunity is fully in office during training but then the company offers a hybrid work schedule, 1-2 days remote. Apply today for immediate consideration! Essential Duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist: Receive, verify, process, and reconcile vendor invoices Compare purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipt for accurate 3-way match Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used Coordinate with areas of the business for invoice approvals and PO adjustments and corrections Respond to external vendors and internal personnel regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment, assisting with account reconciliations, and expense report processing. Perform ad-hoc analysis, assist with projects and any other assigned tasks and duties as directed Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closeRequirements

Minimum 3-5 years of recent, full cycle, high volume accounts payable experience.

Intermediate Excel skills.

Month end close experience preferred.

Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

What You Need to Know Community Liaison CML – Orders Specialist Responsibilities: Complete the orders management process for physician orders. This includes daily processing of tasks that result in generation of orders needing to be sent or re-sent to the physician for signature. Organize orders and send orders to each physician using his/her preferred method for receiving orders. Coordinate with physician offices to identify changes in preferred delivery method and/or ways the process can be streamlined with physician office agreement. Support preparation of any orders that may require hand delivery by facilitating the process so that sales or branch staff can deliver & pick up orders from local physician offices and facilities. Track outstanding orders and complete follow- up tasks per the established process, including escalation as needed, meeting established service line agreements (SLAs). Assist internal stakeholders with obtaining non- order documentation from external stakeholders, as deemed necessary. Qualifications Community Liaison CML – Orders Specialist Qualifications: 1 – 3 years of experience High school diploma Vocational or technical training in healthcare-related certification (such as CNA, MA) Demonstrates good verbal Able to maintain effective communication and build positive relationships with physicians, physician offices, referral sources, field and office staff.
