System Operations Specialist (LBA Operations)Date: Feb 28, 2024Location: The Woodlands, Texas, United StatesCompany: EntergyPosting End Date:Work Place Flexibility: HybridLegal Entity: Entergy Services, LLCJob Summary/PurposeSpecialist, System Operations is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of the NERC Certification and System Operator Qualification training programs for LBA operating personnel.Job Duties/Responsibilities

Develop and administer training LBA Operators.

Work with Operations Management to develop the training plan for the year.

Work with Subject Matter Experts on projects that impact operator responsibility, tasks and tools used by the training department and the operators.

Administrate operator qualifications and modify tasks as needed while ensuring PER-005 compliance.

Participate in NERC, SERC and MISO committees that are focused on training.

Serve as subject matter expert on LBA operating procedures, tools and responsibilities.

Minimum RequirementsMinimum education required of the position

High school degree or equivalent or related work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

10+ years system operations, 5 years experience with BS or equivalent degree

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required of the position

NERC System Operator Certification preferred

This includes daily processing of tasks that result in generation of orders needing to be sent or re-sent to the physician for signature. Organize orders and send orders to each physician using his/her preferred method for receiving orders.
