The ideal Staff Accountant should have experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. The Staff Accountant should have knowledge of many aspects of the month and year end close process. Role & Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:· Journal entries and accruals· General ledger maintenance and reconciliation· Accounts payable support· Accounts receivable support· Month-end close· Financial statement preparation· Additional projects as assignedRequirements
A diverse background and a willingness to learn and adapt to different environments
Technical knowledge and experience working in large accounting packages including at least one major ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (intermediate to advanced level)
3+ years of experience in accounting
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
Must be able to work fully in office and be open to commuting
