Our goal is to deliver unified, personalized, and intuitive talent experiences through advanced technical solutions.As we identify opportunities to improve service delivery, we implement or update technology solutions to ensure a seamless experience for our professionals, enhancing both operational efficiency and effectiveness across talent services.We are seeking a driven and organized manager to support integrated Transformation initiatives by driving user experience (UX) projects using UX best practices and supporting Talent technology solutions. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the Talent channel and the US Talent Transformation teams to identify areas requiring UX support. The manager will work closely with UX and technology teams to prioritize, scope, and execute UX design and research opportunities, delivering innovative and user-centered technology solutions.As the UX Transformation Portfolio Manager, you will:
Manage UX for Talent Tools: Align with Talent Stakeholders and Digital & Analytics teams to manage the UX of prioritized talent tools, providing early designs to clarify requirements and reduce rework.
Focus on Performance and Deployment Tools: Streamline user experience for professionals, project managers, and deployment specialists within project scope and vendor feasibility.
Guide End-to-End User Experience: Oversee the user experience, including digital adoption tools and automation tools/bots.
Support Deloitte Transformations: Identify impacts of transformations like Workforce Transformation and Global Storefront, refining UX designs to support evolving ways of working.
Collaborate in a Dynamic Environment: Work with minimal oversight in a complex, client- and team-focused setting.
Identify UX Opportunities: Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to identify and incorporate impactful UX design and research opportunities into project plans.
Apply UX Principles: Use team's UX guiding principles and frameworks in special projects with the internal UX team.
Contribute Creatively: Provide hands-on, creative, and solution-oriented input to deliverables.
Conduct User Research: Perform user research through interviews and observations to identify and analyze pain points.
Design User Interactions: Work with product development teams to design user interactions, interfaces, and flows.
Create User Journey Maps: Define future state user experiences through user journey maps.
Conduct Usability Tests: Design and conduct usability tests to validate designs and identify improvement opportunities.
Manage UX Lifecycle: Oversee research, design, and testing phases, preparing materials, tracking status, reporting findings, and recommending usability improvements.
Communicate UX Value: Articulate the capabilities of the UX team and the value of human-centered design to Talent stakeholders and USTT project teams.
Evaluate New Technologies: Assess new technology applications and solutions considering UX strategies and their fit into the overall user experience.
Refine Talent UX Strategies: Partner with USTT teams and leadership to refine Talent UX strategies and guiding principles/frameworks, focusing on areas like mobile, accessibility, and chatbots.
Perform Other Duties: Undertake other role-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience working across the entire product lifecycle, including project planning, user research and requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
Minimum of 4 years experience designing and implementing large, complex software solutions
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Ability to travel a minimum of 20%
Preferred:
Proficient in usability testing principles, interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, and visual design
Proficient in Figma (Designer, FigJam, etc.)
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500 to $188,900.
