As an off-price retailer we generate more than $9B in sales through our nationwide network of stores.As our Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, project accounting and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Oversee the construction projects from start to finish.
Communicate effectively with contractors and ensure the optimum utilization of resources, labor, materials and equipment and ensure the procurement at most cost-effective terms.
Develop effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among various participants.
Perform a key role in budgeting and identification of resources required.
Ensure construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
Devise the project work plans and make recommendations for changes as and when needed.
Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project which include the architects, contractors, laborers, procurement and monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with contractor.
Conduct weekly /bi-weekly inspection of construction sites.
Serve as key resource to the Director, Sr. Director and VP Construction, review and maintain the project schedule.
You Come With
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5 or more years of experience as a construction project manager with experience in multi-site project management
Experience with the following computer software a plus: Oracle, Lucernex, Smartsheet, Service Channel
Experience managing and tracking multiple projects concurrently
Experience managing vendor bid process, budgeting & tracking timelines
Ability to travel up to 75%
