Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Alexandria, Virginia. This role is situated within the industry and involves a wide variety of clerical duties and responsibilities. You will be a key part of our team, ensuring the smooth running of the office and contributing to an efficient and organized work environment.Responsibilities: Organize and maintain office files and records for easy access and retrieval Ensure the office environment is kept clean and presentable at all times Manage the office pantry by ensuring snacks are readily available throughout the day Take charge of office supplies and ensure that items such as printer paper are always stocked Manage office equipment, including troubleshooting issues and arranging for repairs or replacements as necessary Coordinate and perform basic office upkeep tasks to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace Utilize a variety of computer programs and CRM systems to manage and update customer records Handle inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and routing calls as necessary Perform accounting tasks using relevant software systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing Carry out clerical duties including billing functions and document processing. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential. Knowledge of Banner Ads is a significant plus. Competence in various Computer Programs is necessary. Familiarity with CRM is beneficial. Ability to use About Time software is valued. Must be able to Answer and handle queries effectively. Experience in Answering Inbound Calls is a must. Proficiency in Billing Functions is required. Capable of performing Clerical Duties efficiently.
