In this role, you will w ork with the operations teams to ensure compliance, and assist with data automation, including areas of planning, training, document management, standard operating procedures, and communications.What You'll Be Doing:

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Support the development and refinement of SOPs for both the Bus and Rail sections. Ensure that our procedures align with regulatory standards while promoting operational excellence. Your attention to detail and thorough approach will be critical in maintaining high standards for 24/7 Metro Integrated Command & Communications Center (MICC) Operations.

Power BI Tracking Dashboards: Utilizing your proficiency in Power BI, you will create and maintain comprehensive tracking dashboards. These dashboards will monitor mandatory courses, compliance checks, and certifications for bus and rail operations. Your ability to translate data into actionable insights will drive informed decision-making and improve overall operational efficiency.

Manage and Update Excel Trackers: You will be responsible for managing and updating Excel trackers to monitor various operational aspects. Your systematic approach will ensure that records are accurate and up to date, providing essential insights into our operations.

Spearhead Digitization Initiatives: As a forward-thinker, you will spearhead the digitization of form usage by creating SharePoint forms. By replacing outdated paper-based processes with efficient digital solutions, you will streamline workflows and enhance productivity across the organization.

Conduct, Manage Training Courses and Skill Drills: Leveraging your experience, you will conduct, manage, support in streamlining training courses by working with SMEs.

Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) system: Your engaging delivery, both in-person and online, will facilitate continuous learning and development among our team members. Additionally, you will organize and execute in-person drills to test and enhance preparedness for emergency situations, prioritizing the safety and security of our operations.

Provide Reporting and Insights: Provide daily reporting on training updates, performance metrics, and the completion of mandatory courses. Your insights will offer valuable information to inform strategic decision-making, helping to drive improvements and achieve organizational goals.

Compliance: Assist and support all safety-related corrective action plans, audits, and mitigations driving them to completion. Consults with and advises the MICC team on the development of annual safety goals and objectives for their department/office in accordance with Corrective Action Plan (CAP) requirements. Effective collaboration, coordination with internal and external stakeholders to carry out MICC operational duties.

Redesign ServiceNow Platform: Drive the redesign of the MICC Hub ServiceNow platform, orchestrating enhancements to user experience, innovative dashboard creation, reporting features, and the seamless replacement of fillable PDF forms with dynamic digital solutions.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Requirements include in-office (Eisenhower, VA) attendance for 3 days per week and or as needed basis. Office presence is required three times a week to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred 2 years of experience working in WMATA operations, coupled with required additional experience in IT-related operations or IT field.

Proficiency in Power BI, MySQL, Data Analytics, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Experience with ServiceNow, Peoplesoft ELM, and Everbridge applications.

Develop and implement aggressive outreach strategies to a variety of communities, including the development of strategic outreach tools and products. Develop budget and outreach materials, Congressional updates, fact sheets, information reports, multi-media presentations, official correspondence, position papers, testimony, and white papers in support of the Director, NSF, and senior leadership. Assist in formulating strategy messages and preparing materials on legislative issues.
