Sr. Cyber Network EngineerLocation: Chantilly, VA, USJob ID: 16310Job DescriptionJobDescription:Title: Sr. Cyber Network EngineerLocation: Chantilly, VACitizenship/Clearance requirements: U.S. Citizen with ActiveTS/SCI w/ CI PolyclearanceResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Prioritize requirements based on the needs of the project-Interacts with other team members and customers at multiple levels to gather, supply, or coordinate information-Good communication and customer service skills are needed along with ability to coordinate effectively with individuals from multiple levels and across multiple teams-Provides insight into efficiencies that can be gained from the current workflow based on an understanding of the customers requirements-Performs engineering support and system administration of applications and systems to include installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and back- up/restore-Provides Tier 2/3 maintenance and engineering support for deployed technologies-Supports Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies, where applicable-Identifies potential conflicts with implementation of any cybersecurity tools within the enterprise and develops recommendations to remediate these conflicts-Provides ideas for automating repetitive project tasks and metrics collection using scripts and assists with testing/implementation to production-Other project and corporate duties as assigned to support the customerBasic Qualifications:-Minimum education: B.S. or relevant experience in related field-Minimum/general experience: 10 years of related experience-Expertise in technologies involved in large scale enterprise deployments/data centers-Experience in deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such asfirewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems, virtual systems-Experience with tools such as Nmap,Nessus, and tcpdump-Experience implementing and using complicated software products that involve multiple components-Ability to clearly document complicated steps and procedures-Working knowledge ofshell, perl and xml scripting-Design and architecture experience a plus-A solid understanding of Windows and Linux systems, general operating system security practices,TCP/IPnetworking, and network security concepts is required-Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile, and nimble environment-Excellent written/oral communications skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills-Excellent organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail-Must have or be willing to obtain IAT Level II or higher certification within 6 months of hire-Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are metSecurity Clearance Requirements:-Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ PolygraphArena Technical Resources, LLC, (ATR) is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) who will provide equal employment opportunity to employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, color, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, veteran status, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family structure, genetic information, or mental or physical disabilityAn Equal OpportunityEmployer M/F/D/VJobCategoryNetwork Admin/Eng/AnalysisJobID16310JobTitleSr. Cyber Network EngineerJobLocationChantilly, VAHourlyPay Rate-AnnualPay Rate
