Req ID: RQ183264Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: NonePublic Trust/Other Required: NoneJob Family: Financial AnalysisSkills:Finance Strategy,Financial Analysis,Financial Functions,Microsoft ExcelExperience:10 + years of related experienceUS Citizenship Required:YesJob Description:As a Senior Advisor, Financial Analyst at GDIT, you will be working on the Finance team where you’ll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Responsible for advanced tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business review to provide insight into business.Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.Prepare financials for monthly close and forecasting process.Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections.Act as focal point for communication of financials.Develop long-range financial models in collaboration with the management team.May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.Ensure subsidiary readiness for year-end audit.Provide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.Manage revenue and cost adjustment submission, ensuring accuracy and review of proper back up information.Collaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project management.Conducts and may direct audits and analysis of their organization’s direct and indirect costs, and reviews their practices and procedures.Provides advanced guidance and leadership to less-experienced financial analysts.May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)Develop financial policies and guidelines.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Bachelor's Degree required● Experience: 10+ years of finance or accounting experience● Knowledge of Oracle Financial systems preferred● Required Skills and Abilities: Microsoft office suite with demonstratable knowledge in MS EXCEL and PowerPoint. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
