Painter - Level 2

As a Painter Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for performing painting and coating operations on a variety of products and components. You will ensure that all painting activities are completed in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Danville, KY location.In this role, you will impact the overall appearance and quality of our products by applying paint and coatings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform painting and coating operations on various products and components

Ensure that all painting activities are completed in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer

Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results

Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools

Monitor and maintain inventory of painting supplies and materials

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Previous experience in painting and coating operations

Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and equipment

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for painting operations

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
