As a Dashboard Developer you will be trusted to work with meaningful data, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. In this role, a typical day will include:Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsCollaborating with data analysts, data scientists as well as managers to collect requirements, understand needs, and convert into visualizationsConverting raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision makingMaintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed, and train on how best to interact with themPerforming quality checks on visualizations for data accuracyPresenting monthly visualizations at large meetingsWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science (or related field of study)3+ years of related experienceFamiliarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsFamiliarity with SQL, understanding of data modeling, and experience working with large datasetsAbility to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and to illustrate trendsExcellent communication skills to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team membersBe a self-starter with a natural curiosity to understand, simplify and explain complex dataFamiliarity with R or Python for data science, including machine learningKnowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards ( preferred )Location: RemoteResidency requirements: Candidate must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 yearsStrongly Preferred skills:Strong working knowledge of R or Python for data science, including machine learning ( preferred )Strong working knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards ( preferred )Experience and working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid programs (dashboards)GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#GDITHealth​#healthcarefraud#fwaThe likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
