The NPDB improves the quality of health care by encouraging State licensing boards, hospitals and other health care entities, and professional societies to identify and discipline those who engage in unprofessional behavior; and to restrict the ability of incompetent physicians, dentists, and other health care practitioners to move from State to State without disclosure or discovery of previous medical malpractice payment and adverse action history. Adverse actions can involve licensure, clinical privileges, professional society membership, and exclusions from Medicare and Medicaid.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an IT PMO Program Analyst our work depends on supporting the NPDB program. You will be responsible for supporting the PMO for contract management execution support.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Perform complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of the NPDB program

Creates, maintains, updates deliverables via JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Microsoft excel or other dashboards

Compile and contribute to Weekly Status Meeting Artifacts, Monthly Progress Reports, and Monthly Financial Reports

Provide project coordination support to federal leadership/project managers and the GDIT team to ensure that deliverables are being met, including coordinating information and deadlines across projects, managing document repositories, assist in developing project artifacts, and being a trusted resource to the GDIT team

Ensure completeness and accuracy of current progression status and critical path implications

Extracts or compiles data from supporting management systems to provide managers with summaries or reports

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's of Arts or Science degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience

Required Experience: 2 + years of experience supporting small to medium IT projects to include deliverable management

Required technical skills: Experience with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills; Functional knowledge of IT project management concepts: Agile and tools: Confluence & Jira; Experience with confidential data (PII and/or PHI)

Security Clearance Level: None, however must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Required Skills & Abilities: Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage frequently changing priorities of competing importance; Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal/external teams including key stakeholders and customers; Ensure timely completion of multiple, simultaneous, independent projects of moderate complexity; Position requires strong communication/documentation skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills; Apply effective networking skills to carry out job responsibilities; Gather pertinent information from a variety of sources to perform duties; Desire to take on new tasks as program requirements evolve

Preferred Skills: Bachelor's of Arts or Science degree with 3-5+ years experience supporting small to medium IT projects to include deliverable management; Experience supporting federal contract program manager; Task management experience and/or skills; Finance/Accounting Experience

Location: Remote working position; Quarterly travel to the Rockville, MD office as needed

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.
