Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.HOW A FACILITIES SPECIALIST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:● Ensures compliance with company and government regulations related to facility safety and environmental efforts● Responds professionally to all work requests, questions and issues related to facilities operations (to include internal/external stakeholders)● Effectively communicate with peers, vendors, executives, landlords and clients at all levels● Works with drafts and coordinates supply chain requests, payments and facilities information● Manage vendor relationships which is critical to the success of this position● Coordinate/Support Office Moves & Changes● Facilitate Capex and Procurement processing● Oversite of Facility and Warehouse Operations● Facilitate repairs, estimates, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities● Maintain maintenance records, and perform periodic inspections as required● Coordinate and support “Light the Site” renovation site improvements initiatives as required, including performance of initiatives● Provide support for sustainability initiatives as directed by REF Management● Support hospitality initiatives as requested● Provide support for sustainability initiatives as directed by REF Management● Support Facility Risk Assessments as requested● Work with and coordinate with landlord’s staff as required to support GDIT● Support communications initiatives as requested● Support requirements of GDIT’s customers at the site location or at remote locations● Manage Real Estate & Facilities Special Projects as required● Must be willing to participate in video conference calls on cameraWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● High School Diploma and 9+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience● Self-driven individual with an outstanding work ethic who is customer centric● Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills● Knowledge of practices, policies and procedures involved in facility operations● Experience managing multiple facilities● Strong communication skills● Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite● Ability to work with GDIT internal website pages, updates and related technical updates● General facilities maintenance work experience is preferredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $85,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
