Our work depends on Financial Analyst Senior joining our team to take the financial lead on a portfolio of Defense contracts, performing a program CFO role to ensure compliance, accuracy of planning, reporting and forecasting, mitigation of risks and identification of opportunities.HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis● Work closely with PMs and other integral business functions such as contracts, HR, billing and our controller team●Prepare and/or contribute to presentation of regular financial packages such PMRs, monthly forecasts and variance analytics●Act as the focal point for your programs for all financial requirements including scenario modeling and long range planning●Demonstrate knowledge of and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations●Engage in monthly financial close and EAC proceduresWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Finance or related field; OR in lieu of degree, 9+ yrs of related experience is required● Required Experience: 5+ years of related Finance experience in government contracting or Program Control Organization● Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency● Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills● Preferred Skills: Oracle experience strongly preferred; otherwise other accounting system experience (Costpoint, Deltek, etc)GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $77,613 - $105,007. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
