Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Perform routine clerical accounting duties while adhering to established accounting standards.
Data entry of contracts and accounting financial transactions in the accounting software database
Assist in audit requests
Execute accurate reporting, filing, and database management
Research and complete accounting reconciliations.
Coordinate business financial information between payroll, accounting, and contracting offices.
Process and reconcile payroll on a biweekly basis.
Ensure submission of timesheets. Review and audit timesheets and makes revisions, as necessary
Establish and maintain payroll files in accordance with audit requirements
Maintain accruals for time off
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
Research payroll tax issues and manage tax applications
Maintain client electronic files
Correspond with clients and respond to inquiries.
Any other assigned tasks
Assist in planning and scheduling contract and regulatory compliance activities, including internal and external audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA, and other independent agencies).
Collaborate with partners and contract teams to research and analyze historical data for reporting and audit purposes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and disclosure statements with regard to agreement preparation, review, submission, negotiation, management, and close-out.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
Attend management meetings and contribute to workflow management.
Draft, update, and maintain internal policies. Develop and maintain contract and procurement files.
Be prepared to perform any other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation
Associates degree focused in accounting is preferred.
Experience
Two years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Experience with accounting software (PROCAS) is preferred.
Experience with WAWF is preferred.
Experience working in an integrated team environment; able to operate independently and as part of a team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of ADP payroll processing
Customer service skills for invoice inquiries
Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) skills. Google (Docs and Sheets) skills preferred.
Self-starter and well-organized. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within required deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to communicate well in person and via email to individuals and small groups of company staff. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office.
Possess exceptional reading comprehension abilities and have demonstrated their capacity to analyze intricate clauses within contracts.
Competency in the areas of negotiation memorandum review, including proper cost/price analysis, vendor selection, budget consideration, and special prime contract provisions.
Must be familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Government service-type cost reimbursable, T&M, and fixed-price contracts.
Organizational skills are required for this position to ensure the documentation record is filed professionally and accurately for internal and external audits.

Ability to obtain or have a security clearance.
Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
Be able to lift 15 pounds.
Travel in the local area during the workday (including using a personal vehicle).
Required to perform work in connection with a covered contract and, therefore, must comply with Safer Federal Workforce standards
